At some point it started to irritate me how much time I had to spend constantly switching between apps, thinking how to integrate and embed one thing into another. I didn’t need all those endless features well-known apps had. I felt that their design and user experience was making my work heavier and harder. And I got so tired and stressed… that I decided to build an app that would be way more suitable for people like me. And way better. So here I am endlessly preparing this launch and having sleepless nights worrying how it all will go 🙂 So please, have a look at the app and our idea. @shreyasiyer thanks for your interest and support :) Ok, well, great questions. Notion inspired us to develop Dokably, both by its amazing idea of database and at the same time by very difficult UX of it :) So we plan to be easier and clearer + we are niche solution for small and medium teams, for their daily work and performance. Notion is much bigger in this regard and not yet ideal for teams' work. Google docs - well, it is something that we won't stop using for many years I guess. But yet, it does not have features for teams, like channels/tasks/whiteboard/visualization.. Integration: it is crucial for us and this domain. Now we have integrations with google, figma, Trello, miro, loom. And we plan to work on it more in second part of 2023. Now you can embed figma board for example by selecting feature embed in our text editor.

@aleksandra_dikan Thanks for the response! That makes a lot of sense. We currently use Notion and agree that it's a pain on the UX front. It seems you guys have taken the nice parts of Notion and made them much easier to use :) Also, the integrations are super interesting. We generally link out Figma boards and Loom videos. Would be super nice to have these embedded right in our documents. Our team will definitely check out Dokably!

It's one of my personal goals with the app as well as a founder and product manager :) We want to keep just the basic and most essential functionality small and medium teams need for their work.
