Finally β a serious tool for prompt engineering that treats it like real engineering.
Love the approach of bringing software dev principles (testing, versioning, analytics) to prompt crafting. Most tools stop at "try it and hope," but PromptForge actually closes the loop with evaluation and feedback.
The dual analysis and edge case testing are huge wins β especially when deploying prompts in production. Excited to see support for Claude, GPT-4, and Azure right out of the box too.
Massive kudos for building something that serious AI builders actually need. Canβt wait to dig in!
I like your design. It's so focused on the job, the so-called Job-to-be-Done

Congrats on the launch!
Interesting new AI tool to try. We're also developing AI ecommerce apps and utilizing prompting to create many key outputs daily. And yes, prompt engineering isn't merely about attempting to write perfect sentences with correct grammar; it's a fundamental skill across industries.
@ren_leΒ Absolutely! E-commerce is such a perfect use case for systematic prompt engineering!
You're dealing with product descriptions, customer support responses, marketing copy, SEO content - all requiring different prompt strategies but consistent quality. The "fundamental skill across industries" point is spot on!

What's the difference between your product and Genum?
Olvy
@juli_ratakowskiyΒ Great question! Key differences:
Focus:
- GenumLab = Enterprise FinOps (cost optimization, audit, compliance)
- PromptForge = Developer productivity (build better prompts faster)
Unique to PromptForge:
- AI-powered prompt generation - don't start from scratch, let AI craft initial prompts
- One-line Docker setup - running locally in 30 seconds vs enterprise deployment
- Open source - community-driven development, full transparency
- Developer workbench approach - built for individual productivity
Different audiences:
- GenumLab β Enterprise teams needing cost control & governance
- PromptForge β Developers wanting systematic prompt engineering
Think "enterprise platform vs developer tool" - both valid but serving different needs!
Are you looking more for team cost management or individual prompt crafting workflow? Happy to dive deeper based on your specific use case!

π 260 votes! You all are absolutely incredible!
I'm seeing lots of developers here - quick question:
How much time do you spend per week on prompt engineering?
- Less than 1 hour?
- 1-5 hours?
- 5+ hours?
And what's your biggest time waster in the process? π€

The response has been mind-blowing! π€―
For those who've tried systematic prompt testing before - what tools did you use? And what frustrated you most about them?
Building PromptForge to solve these exact problems! πͺ

Loving all the developers jumping in!
Quick poll: Which AI model do you use most for prompts?
- ChatGPT/GPT-4?
- Claude?
- Gemini?
- Multiple models?
And do you test the same prompt across different models? π€
