We built a tool because I was tired of doing manually every morning 😅

Hey everyone!

Wanted to share the "why" behind what we’re building at PushPilot.

It actually started as a massive headache in my own organization. We realized that in a crowded market, if you aren't staying top-of-mind, you're invisible. We needed to send daily notifications to remind users we exist—but there was a catch:

The "Don't Be Spammy" Rule: You can’t just blast the same generic message every day. Users hate that.

So, our team’s daily routine became:

  1. Brainstorm a campaign.

  2. Ask ChatGPT to write a fresh, catchy notification.

  3. Manually publish it through Firebase and OneSignal.

It was working (our retention went up!), but man, it was a chore. We knew we had to automate it.

That’s how PushPilot was born. We built it in a SaaS style so anyone could use it, not just us. We even shared it with some friends at other companies (including a few unicorns) and they basically told us: "Please don't take this away from us."

The best part? We wanted this to be accessible. We’ve set up a Free Plan that should cover about 99% of developers out there. We only have paid plans to help us cover the actual AI token costs.

I’d love to hear how you guys handle user retention. Is it a manual grind for you too, or have you found a better way?

Check us out if you're tired of the manual copy-paste life! 🚀
