It's been a while since I was in college, but this beats punch cards by a mile! What are stores currently doing? Is Snackpass doing something adjacent? I worked on something vaguely similar (mobile app and loyalty program for wine shops) and I recall a key hurdle was getting the shops to 1) buy in and 2) get their customers to download your app. I know @sodio worked on something similar at Fivestars - maybe he has thoughts?

@rajiv_ayyangar thanks for the insightful response! It might surprise you but there are a lot of college town merchants still on punch cards and a majority of them offer flat rate discounts to college students(they just don’t advertise them). Snackspass is interesting since they have loyalty and order ahead but they do rely on additional hardware. Our product doesn’t require any additional hardware and students get the benefit of using multiple cards and linking them to one loyalty platform. I would hear more about your experience with the loyalty rewards wine app you created if you are free for a chat! @sodio I would love to hear any feedback or insights
