Wow, Readever looks incredible! The co-reading with historical figures is such a unique concept. Im curious, how does the system handle different interpretations of the text being read?

Anna R

Finally! Most AI reading tools are just "summarizers" that encourage skipping the text, but Readever actually helps me engage with it. Also, I love the idea of having 5,000+ AI Reading Mentors debate a point is such a geeky, brilliant feature—it’s like a book club on steroids!

Question: Does the memory system sync with tools like Notion or Readwise? That would make the "Knowledge Curator" aspect unstoppable. Congrats on the launch!

Quick question though — is it possible to use an abstraction of a famous person’s voice here? And if so, how does that actually work, especially once monetization is involved?

Genuinely asking because voice + identity feels like a tricky area legally and ethically. Would love to understand how you’re thinking about this and where the boundaries are.

How do you prevent the AI from overwhelming readers with too many notes or interruptions?

Jin Shang

@huglemon  Thanks for the question! Our AI agent will automatically adjust its output density based on user interactions. If user skips many notes the AI will reduce its output volume. Users can also manually adjust them.

From a product and AI perspective, how do you balance maintaining a consistent ‘persona voice’ while still adapting insights to different reading styles and genres?

Jin Shang

@yevhenii_danilchuk That's a great question, our AI will pick the most suitable persona based on user's history and book genre. For example while reading business books it may invite Jobs and Musk, while reading economics it may invite Kaynes and Hayek.

What does “agentic reading” actually mean inside the app, and how does it change the reading experience?

Jin Shang

@karenapatchhh Thanks for the question. While you are reading, Readever assigns multiple AI Agents that provide deep insight into the text. Each is equipped with personalized memory, unique point of view and proactive tools.

The memory system remembering my earlier confusion was surprisingly helpful.

@new_user___2692025f667f1e42127a6b7 Thank you! We made a fine-grained memory system that includes user memory, book memory and agent memory. We hope it can make reading truly personalized.

Uploading my own book worked smoothly, and the annotations still felt tailored.

Jin Shang

@wu_chiyu Thanks for trying! We aim to provide the same personalized reading experience for both uploaded books and imported ones.

How does the system decide which concepts need explanation and which don’t?

Jin Shang

@new_user___29620254ebb982204b9ba1f It learns from your reading history and our AI agent is fully context aware.
