@patrickg2004 great feedback Patrick! How would you "define level of nuance" and how do you envision a feature to regulate the AI focus on what you mention as key themes and events? Keen to learn more!

It's great to hear back from you; to me, a good "level of nuance" would mean that the recast identifies both new developments or facts reported in an article and speculation on the impact of those developments, separates the two clearly, and potentially notes other articles providing different perspectives on the same topic. I personally spend a good chunk of time each day reading financial news (WSJ, FT, BBG, some NYT) and often read a number of stories related to one specific development in the markets, (i.e. expectations for an upcoming Federal Reserve meeting, a trend in bankruptcies or corporate debt spreads, etc.) and so having Recast highlight parts of an article related to events or themes I want to track would save me a ton of time scanning news articles and improve Recast's use case.

@hmpark_eddie We have experimented with various open source models as well but getting them to a high enough quality is a lot of work. So we decided to go with a paid TTS vendor to have a good enough baseline. We still add a lot of our own sauce to fine-tune the pronunciations delivered by their model.

Along with traditional pulse surveys, we are offering multiple organic moments for employees to share their voice such as Daily pools, suggestion boxes, weekly challenges, Wellness check-ins, sentiment analysis, etc. These in combination with our personalized action plans for managers, surely helping companies to truly understand and act on what inspires their employees and what uninspired them. On the other side, employees are also freely coming forward because they see our platform as trusted and a safe space.
