Yet there are reports that show that 50% ~ 80% of jobs are filled by networking. So what do you do when (1) no one teaches you how to network (2) but majority of jobs are filled by networking? It's tough. That's why we created NetworkAI. NetworkAI helps you find hiring managers, professionals and recruiters that are most relevant to the jobs you're going after. Our hope is to ease the process of the job search for those who come from non-traditional backgrounds. We have much more work to do in this space, but we hope the first iteration of NetworkAI (along with weekly feature launches) will help you, your friends & communities in landing your dream job.

A brief story of how this worked for me: Because of using LinkedIn networking with these exact strategies, outputs, and reach outs, I was able to land into my career at Snap, Google, and Cisco. For Snapchat: I identified the recruiter for the role and reached out using a personalized invite + a message, showcased my skills/experiences from my resume, which led to an interview and offer. For Google: I identified the hiring manager when he read my post about being affected by layoffs; I then sent him a personalized invite to connect which led to an interview and offer. For Cisco: I optimized my profile and a recruiter reached out to me. I then reached out to professionals who worked at the company to gain insights to best prepare for my interviews and eventual offer.
