Rhythm transforms the new AirPods Pro heart rate sensing feature into one-minute mindful check-ins: feel, see, and hear your actual heartbeat through synchronized audiovisuals, and haptics. Works with AirPods Pro 3, Apple Watch, or any Bluetooth heart monitor.
Hey PH! I'm Mathijs, from the team behind Rhythm. For me starting a more traditional meditation sometimes feels like a hurdle. But when Apple announced heart rate sensing in the AirPods Pro 3, I had this wild idea: what if your heartbeat could be the meditation? Just tune into the rhythm that's literally keeping you alive.
We built Rhythm in a sprint of excitement, and honestly, feeling my actual pulse through my iPhone and AirPods Pro become my favorite way to check in with myself. Would love to hear what you think! ๐

@mathijskadijkย Congrats on the launch, Mathijs! ๐ Rhythm sounds absolutely beautiful โ turning something as natural and personal as your heartbeat into a meditation experience is such a thoughtful idea. Love the simplicity and creativity behind it. Excited to try it out and see how it changes the way we connect with ourselves. ๐ซถ
@roozbehfirouzย Absolutely! It adapts the audiovisuals in real time to your heart rate. Makes it so much easier to tune in on your own body and focus on the moment.

Rhythm is such a fascinating ideaโturning heart rate data into a sensory experience makes mindfulness feel more tangible. Do you plan to add progress tracking or journaling features around these check-ins?
I'm a huge fan of mindfulness and meditation related apps. This is a really cool use of the new heart rate sensors. I really like the visuals for this. Maybe this will be my excuse for upgrading to the new AirPods Pro haha
Big fan of the concept, @mathijskadijk, turning the heartbeat itself into the practice is clever and feels refreshingly low-friction.
Tried Rhythm just now but couldnโt get my AirPods Pro 3 to connect on first run. Could be me, but if thereโs a quick troubleshooting tip (permissions, pairing flow, etc.), Iโm all ears (ha!). Happy to share details if it helps.
Either way, love the direction. The world could use more calm built into the defaults. Cheering you on!
Could you check if you gave the app permission to read your heart rate by going to System Settings โ Apps โ Health โ Data Access & Devices โ Rhythm? If that's on it should work.
If it still doesn't work please shoot us an email at team[at]nonstrict.com happy to help and would love to improve the error handling!

Sounds like digital mindfulness lol. Does it adapt visuals based on your heartbeat rhythm in real time?
