Roadrunner defines a radical new class of operator-supervised autonomous air vehicles capable of high subsonic speeds, high G-force maneuvers, and VTOL return to base for reuse.
This is a wild product... you've gotta watch the video.
When people talk about weapons of war as a deterrent, this kind of device should increasingly come to mind.
Reminds me of some of the stuck Daniel Suarez wrote about in Daemon.
Okay, not a product I thought I'd find here, but... what a great piece of technology!
I can't help thinking that such powerful, "affordable" and autonomous weaponry shouldn't be available to non-gov people. This will inevitably lead to catastrophic events.

Even Thunderbirds weren’t so futuristic. Cool

Heartiest congratulations on the groundbreaking launch of Roadrunner! 🚁
The introduction of a new class of operator-supervised autonomous air vehicles, capable of high subsonic speeds, high G-force maneuvers, and VTOL return to base for reuse, is nothing short of revolutionary.
First AI everything, now publicly launched "air vehicles", the dystopian future is way closer than we imagined.
As much as this is a fascinating piece of equipment, I hope this doesn't encourage people to "launch" weaponry on here, defense or otherwise.
Also just saw a comment that said, "going to give this a try"... pretty sure that's how you end up on a naughty list

Oh wow this looks really interesting! You're part of it's development? Would certainly love to understand it more.
