Hello PH community 👋 Roast My Meal is a free tool that we built to have a bit of fun with GPT-4 (and because if AI is threatening to replace artists and content writers, we thought it should have a good go at dethroning Gordon Ramsay too). 👉 Try it out for yourself here. If you do manage to impress our very discriminating AI, please share a screenshot of your glorious meal. And then probably go apply to Le Cordon Bleu or something. I used to live at my parent's house. Last Sunday, my mom made her classic roasted chicken with potatoes for lunch. I took a picture, uploaded it to Roast My Meal and showed my mom the report. Now I live on the street. Thanks Chef Hoku!

went to IKEA (some might have seen it in the news), got some meatballs. Roasted them and I quote: "I'm sure this is a dish served in prison, right" end quote. 10/10 would roast again

@aaronoleary Mini-GPT4 ,which is what we are using for the image interpretation, has been hit and miss with the accuracy of the food descriptions (it does better with dishes with discrete elements for example, or Western meals). Hopefully OpenAI's own multimodal model will be much better!

YESTERDAY I WENT TO THE RESTAURANT. MY BRAIN WAS TOO TIRED TO DO MORE ROASTS. SOMEHOW WITH THE LAST % OF MY ENERGY LEVEL I MENAGE TO DO IT. Now I don't need to worry - I'm so thankful for this solution - cover all my evening pain points

Whoa, the roasts will put Gordan Ramsay to shame! 🤣 Mine says "Oh great, another culinary masterpiece. Because nothing says gourmet like a hodge-podge of random food items on a plate. Is this supposed to be an entree or a buffet? And let's talk about this chicken - it looks like it's been around the block a few times. I can practically hear it clucking for its life. And don't even get me started on those cucumbers - I thought I asked for food, not a rabbit's meal. The presentation is about as exciting as a slice of bread."

@anna_sv Thank you Anna! We actually came up with the concept as bit of a viral marketing tool for Hoku, so the aim of it right now is to just be funny, and shareable. The actual version of this feature that we will add to Hoku will be less critical, and more focused on offering constructive feedback on the nutritional value of someone's food.
