With so many launches occurring so often these days, not a lot of products get me excited, but this one definitely does. Always been a big fan of @RobinhoodApp.

Really love the product design here. Robinhood's entry into the crypto market is perfectly timed too.

I don't think it's as zero-sum as people play it out to be. GDAX is also fee-free and has a decent mobile web experience. I think it will put pressure on Coinbase to support additional currencies at more rapid pace, which is good for every "informed" citizen of the investing world. My guess is that it will be good for the top 20 mktcap currencies in due time. And I'm glad they're doing their diligence on coins to avoid pump and dump schemes 😏. As Apple continues to increase its list of approved cryptocurrencies for the App Store, so will the opportunity for the predominantly web-based exchanges to enter the mobile arena. Others, like Binance, have unverified apps that many have already downloaded 🤷‍♂️.

[ To apply for a Robinhood account, you must: (1) be 18 years or older; (2) have a valid Social Security Number (not a Taxpayer Identification Number); (3) have a legal U.S. residential address; and (4) be a U.S. citizen or U.S. permanent resident or have a valid U.S. visa*.] Any idea about when it's going to be available worldwide, or lets say EU?
