Rutter Accounting APIs - Plaid for commerce data

Thanks for hunting us @katmanalac ! Hey PH! 👋, We launched on PH a year ago and were amazed with the response you gave back! Today, after a year of building and listening to the PH community and our customers, we’re launching the next step of our platform: accounting integrations. Rutter is a uniform way to interact with data across the major commerce platforms. Just like how Plaid makes it easy for fintech companies to get transactions from any bank, we make it easy for companies to read and write orders, products, and customers from any ecommerce platform, storefront, marketplace, or payment processor. The missing merchant system of record is accounting platforms. Accounting covers the cost side of a business, and is much more widespread amongst small businesses than any storefront or marketplace, which only encompasses ecommerce. Rolling out a universal API for accounting makes it easier for developers to build tools for merchants and small businesses. With our existing commerce APIs and now accounting APIs as well, you get a more comprehensive picture of a merchant’s business, along with a much larger market of businesses you can work with. This is a product I recently encountered. Great idea and feature set. I think it’s absolutely necessary in the API ecosystem.
