Savvyshot 1.3.2 dropped β no more Snipping Tool dependency on Windows π
Hey everyone! We've got a fresh update for you and this one's a big deal for our Windows users.
Savvyshot now has its own native capture core on Windows. No more relying on the system's Snipping Tool under the hood. Region, window, and full screen capture are all handled natively now, and it works on both Windows 10 and 11.
We also snuck in a couple of important fixes:
Activated license users were still seeing the watermark when opening screenshots, that's now gone for good (until you toggle it on again) β
Some of you reported settings and profiles resetting on every launch. Really sorry about that one, it's fixed now π
As always, the update is free for everyone who already owns Savvyshot. Just relaunch the app and you should be on 1.3.2 automatically.
Would love to hear how the new capture core feels for you. Drop a comment below! π
