30 hrs/week as a human web scraper for prospects. I built the engine that replaced me.
Hey everyone — I'm Lincoln.
I used to run local SEO campaigns, and I'll be honest, the prospecting process almost broke me. Most of my week was glorified data entry: clicking through page 5 of Google Maps, checking review response rates one by one, hunting for unclaimed Google Business Profiles, and copy-pasting business info into spreadsheets. All of that just to find maybe 10 qualified leads.
And then the worst part: I'd send those leads a generic "I can improve your SEO" email and hear... nothing. My breaking point was realizing I was acting like a web scraper, not a founder. So I built PackLeads( @Packleads )to automate the entire reconnaissance-to-close pipeline that agencies hate doing manually.
How it works
You type in a niche and a location (e.g., "Plumbers in Austin"). PackLeads scans the market and pulls back businesses, but instead of just giving you a list of names, every single business gets scored across 20+ real signals. The system checks if their Google Business Profile is claimed, when the owner last responded to a review, whether they are ranking in the local pack or buried, if they have an optimized website, and if they are showing up in AI search results like ChatGPT, Google AI Overview, and Perplexity. Each business gets a Need Score (0-100) so you instantly see who's desperate for help vs. who's already handled. No more guessing.
But I didn't want a data tool; I wanted a closing tool. So I built four workflows directly into the platform:
1. Decision-Maker Contact Reveal: This was the feature I wish I'd had for years. For any lead, you can instantly pull the actual decision-maker's name, email, phone number, and LinkedIn profile right inside the app. No more emailing info@ and hoping it reaches someone who can sign a check; you go straight to the owner.
2. Intel Pages (this is the closer): Instead of cold-pitching, you generate a branded audit report for any prospect. This a shareable link showing them exactly where they're losing visibility. Whether it is an unclaimed listing, a 2.8-star rating with zero owner responses, or a total absence from AI search results, it's proof they can see with their own eyes. And here's the part I'm most proud of: you get notified when they view it. You know exactly when a prospect opened your report, so you can follow up at the perfect moment. Agencies using this are telling me it completely changed their follow-up timing.
3. Built-in CRM Pipeline: Every lead flows into a Kanban board where you can drag and drop from Scanned → Contacted → Audit Sent → Call Booked → Closed. No switching to HubSpot or a spreadsheet; your entire pipeline lives where your leads live.
4. Market Intelligence Charts: Each scan gives you a full analytics dashboard rather than just a list. You get an SEO vs. AEO Opportunity Quadrant (a scatter plot showing where every business falls), competitive density analysis, pitch angle breakdowns (what % have unclaimed profiles vs. poor reviews vs. no website), and revenue potential estimates. It turns a scan into a strategy.
Why AEO scoring matters right now
This is the thing I think most agencies are sleeping on. 40% of local searches now trigger Google's AI Overview, yet most local businesses are completely invisible to ChatGPT, Perplexity, and AI-powered search. We score every lead for AI search readiness which means you can pitch a service almost no one else is offering yet. Agencies adding AEO to their packages are opening an entirely new revenue stream.
Portfolio (show your track record)
One more thing; you can build a portfolio inside PackLeads to showcase your agency's work and results. When you're sending Intel Pages to prospects, having a professional portfolio backing you up adds credibility to the proof you're already sending. It's the difference between "here's what's wrong with your online presence" and "here's what's wrong, and here's our track record of fixing it."
Your first 5 scans are free
I'd genuinely love for the PH community to test this. Run a scan on your local market then pick any niche, any city, and tell me what you think of how the Need Score algorithm weighs the signals. Does the scoring feel right? Are the Intel Pages convincing enough to send to a real prospect? What's missing? Try it here → https://packleads.io
