Buddy is a desktop pal that opens apps, gives coding hints, and keeps you company
Hey everyone, I’m Dennis, my friend Saurabh (the founder) and I are building Vreeze.
Most AI tools are a blank text box in a browser tab, and they hand you finished code. If you’re learning, that means you ship things you don’t fully understand.
Vreeze is a small companion that lives on your desktop all day:
Does things for you. Say “open Spotify” and it opens. Basic commands run on your own PC.
Gives hints, not answers. When you’re stuck on code, he points you toward the fix so you learn it yourself.
Looks things up online when you need an answer.
Keeps you company. Chat with him when you’re bored, or pet him.
It isn’t built yet. I made a waitlist page to find out if people actually want this before I build the first version: https://www.debugr.app/
I’d love your honest feedback:
What’s the first thing you’d ask a desktop companion to do?
What would make you not trust one?
I’ll reply to every comment. Thanks for reading!
