Building a Better AI Workflow: What Matters More Than Just the Model?
The AI space is moving incredibly fast. New models and tools appear all the time, and it's becoming easier to experiment with AI than ever before.
But I've been thinking about a different question:
How do we turn all these AI capabilities into something genuinely useful in our daily work?
For me, the challenge isn't always finding the most powerful model. It's figuring out which tools fit a particular task, how to bring them into an existing workflow, and how to make the whole process simpler.
A few things seem especially important:
Less friction: Spending less time switching between tools and more time getting things done.
Practical use cases: Focusing on real problems instead of using AI just because it's available.
Flexibility: Choosing an approach that fits the project, rather than forcing every task into the same workflow.
Continuous experimentation: Testing different approaches and learning what actually works.
These ideas are part of what we're exploring with HefuAI (https://hefu.hk/login?mode=register&invite=HNYUCBEQ), a project focused on making it easier to explore AI tools and applications.
We're still interested in learning what people need most, especially developers and teams working with AI.
I'm curious: What's the biggest obstacle in your AI workflow right now?
Is it choosing the right model, managing different tools, integrating AI into an existing product, or something else entirely?
I'd love to hear about your experiences and what you've found useful.
