Foursite + Remodroom: The AI Stack That Turns Floor Plans Into Real Design Conversations

by

Hey Product Hunt,

One sentence in residential design causes more rework, cost, and strained client relationships than almost any other: "This isn't what I imagined."

Clients sign off on 2D floor plans they cannot actually read. Not because they lack taste or intelligence, but because translating a flat blueprint into a felt, three-dimensional space is a trained skill most people simply do not have. The industry has been patching this gap for decades with verbal descriptions, mood boards, and outsourced render studios that charge $1,500 to $2,500 per round and take two to three weeks to deliver.

We built two tools at VirtualSpaces to close this gap at the source, specifically for interior designers, architects, and residential real estate teams.

What We Built

Foursite converts 2D floor plans and architectural blueprints into photorealistic AI 3D interior design renders in minutes. The geometry comes directly from the uploaded floor plan, so the spatial relationships in the render are accurate to what will be built. Designers and real estate teams can bring photorealistic renders to the first client meeting, not the third.

Remodroom works on those renders, or on any room photograph, giving practitioners pinpoint control over individual elements. Swap the sofa, change the flooring, repaint the walls. One element changes; the rest of the image stays intact. A photoreal revision in seconds rather than a re-commission weeks later.

What This Changes for Practitioners

  • Generate 4-6 photorealistic design directions from a floor plan to 3D session in one sitting, not across three weeks of outsourced rounds.

  • Bring AI 3D visualization renders to client meetings as the conversation starting point, not a deliverable delivered after the fact.

  • Iterate on specific elements in real time: when the client asks to try a warmer tone, Remodroom shows it in under a minute.

  • Close the revision cycle in the room, not in email chains.

  • For real estate marketing teams: handle AI virtual staging for off-plan developments, buyer-facing styled variants per unit type, and pre-sales collateral that shows furnished spaces before the building exists.

What we kept hearing from practitioners was: "I've been working this way for fifteen years because there was nothing better." We built this to make that sentence past tense.

We would genuinely love to hear from interior designers, architects, and anyone who works with floor plans and blueprints professionally. What does this solve for you? What are we missing?
