Getting the first customers for a new saas is honestly the hardest part
building the product is the fun part. then you launch and... nothing. no traffic, no signups, and you realize nobody knows your thing exists.
I think most of us have been there. you post on a few subreddits, maybe try Product Hunt, tweet about it to your 40 followers, and after a week it goes quiet again. and a lot of the directories that are supposed to help want you to pay before you even have a single customer.
that's pretty much why I made The SaaS Harbor. it's a free place where new SaaS products can get their own page and get found. no paid plans, no waiting list, you add your product and it's live. you don't need any revenue to be listed.
it won't solve getting customers on its own, nothing does. but it's one more place people can find you, and it costs nothing.
also curious, what actually got you your first few customers? always interested to hear what worked for people
