Hiring in healthcare? A CV won't tell you who can actually do the job
Hi, I'm Gregory, the maker of StormInterview, and we just launched on Product Hunt.
In healthcare a CV tells you someone is "experienced", but not whether they can talk you through a clinical audit or calm a worried patient at 3am. Most applicants never get the chance to show that, because only the few who look good on paper are invited for a conversation.
StormInterview gives every applicant a real first round. Candidates get one link and answer your questions on video whenever it suits them, so nobody has to juggle calendars. Each answer is transcribed and compared with the criteria you set, and you see a suggested score together with the exact quotes it is based on. You read the evidence and make the decision yourself, and nobody is ever rejected automatically.
What it deliberately does not do is analyse emotion, faces, voices or personality. The model reads what candidates say, not how they look.
We already work with a healthcare provider in the UK. If you hire clinicians or care staff, send me a message and I will show you how they set it up and help you write the questions for your own roles. You can start a free trial without a credit card, and code PRODUCTHUNT30 gives 30% off for the first 3 months.
We are still early, so your feedback really shapes what comes next. Tell me what is missing, or what you would need to see before you trust an AI score. I reply to every comment myself.

Not reading faces or voices, and never rejecting anyone automatically, is the part I'd trust. I keep the same line in my own business for customer support. AI drafts the reply, but I check it and send it myself, usually within a day. People can tell when nobody actually read what they wrote.
@hisashispace thanks! "usually within a day" is the bit I like most, that's a real person on the other end
It's the same in hiring. You apply at 11pm, the no lands 3 minutes later, and you know nobody read your CV, let alone listened to you. So with us the score is only a suggestion, the quotes sit right next to it and someone on the team still makes the call
Quick question, I'm curious. Did your customers notice you're reading everything yourself? Or did the complaints just stop
