I am an indie hacker. I build software on my own and then run it for years. On the Mac: SpaceDeck, mission control for every app you live in. Kagemusha, which turns any website into a standalone Mac app. Koffret, which keeps only the menu bar icons you actually use. Caltimate, a native calendar that syncs with Google Calendar. 🚩 Why are AI-generated texts flagged but code isn’t?

There s a growing tendency to flag AI-generated text. There s even a term for low-quality AI-generated content - AI slop.

And honestly, I understand why.

Communication should feel real. If every comment, post, or message is generated by AI, the picture becomes blurry.

But then I have a question.

📰 Do product websites need a Blog today?

After launching RunEvr, we started getting a lot of offers related to blog post creation.

But we had already designed our own blog mechanism earlier, even before the launch.

We re working on this ourselves right now. We even built our own CMS to make it easy to create, review, and publish posts directly to our blog.

But one thing is important to us: the blog belongs to us.
