I built CaliperTools – a fast, no-login collection of everyday image & text tools

I’ve been building small websites and tools for a while, and one recurring frustration was this:
most “simple” online tools are either bloated, slow, or locked behind sign-ups.

So I started CaliperTools — a lightweight collection of practical web tools focused on speed, clarity, and privacy.

What it does right now:

• Image tools (resize, convert, compress, format change)

• Text utilities (split, clean, format, shorten)

• Everything runs directly in the browser

• No accounts, no uploads to a server, no tracking walls

The goal isn’t to replace big platforms, but to make daily, repetitive tasks feel frictionless.

I’m still actively improving it and would genuinely love feedback on:

• Which tools you actually use

• What feels unnecessary

• What’s missing but should be “obvious”
