I'm building a monetization platform for AI chatbots. Would love your feedback.
Hey Product Hunt!
I'm a solo founder building LoreAds, a contextual advertising network designed for AI chatbots and conversational apps.
The idea came from a simple question: Why should chatbot developers have to rely entirely on subscriptions to generate revenue?
We're building a way for publishers to monetize conversations through relevant, clearly labeled sponsored placements that appear separately from AI-generated responses.
We're currently preparing our early publisher beta, offering a 75% revenue share to participating publishers.
I'd love feedback from the community:
Would you consider advertising as a revenue model for AI products?
What would make an ad integration feel trustworthy?
What would you want to see before trying a new ad network?

Looking forward to learning from other builders!

I'm not against ads as a model at all. My crowdsourcing site has run on ad revenue and a few paid members for 22 years, with no fees on the work itself. What kept it working was that ads never got in the way of what people came for. Keeping them separate from the AI's answer sounds like the right line to draw.
@hisashispace Exactly! That's the principle we're building LoreAds around. AI answers should remain independent, while sponsored placements stay clearly labeled and separate from the conversation. The goal is to help publishers monetize without compromising the user experience. Appreciate you sharing your experience!
As someone building an AI chatbot product, I'd only consider ads if the AI's answers can never be influenced by an advertiser and I get full control over categories and frequency. A live demo plus a few real publisher numbers would get me to try it. Good luck with the beta!
@coolsoftware_ws Thanks, Gabriel! Completely agree. LoreAds is designed to keep sponsored placements separate from AI-generated answers, with no advertiser influence over responses. We're also building publisher controls for categories and ad frequency. We have a public demo available at https://loreads.com/demo.
We're still in beta, so I don't want to claim publisher performance numbers we haven't validated yet. Would love your feedback if you get a chance to try it!
@nithiin_srinivas ah, I see. This is very clever.
@coolsoftware_ws Thanks, Gabriel! Your screenshot actually helped us spot a relevance issue in the demo. We've fixed it so laptop-related questions now show more relevant sponsored examples. Really appreciate you trying it out and sharing your feedback!
