InsiderPrint - Every stock tool tells you why to buy. Mine tells you why not to.

I built InsiderPrint because every insider-trading tracker I tried did the same thing: “CEO bought $5M of stock 🚀” and nothing else. No context, no downside.

The problem is that most insider buys don’t beat the market. In our data only about 46% of them beat the S&P 500. So an insider buy alone isn’t a signal. The context is.

So I built Spy Mode. Press Spy on any insider trade and in a few seconds it:

  • checks it against the original SEC Form 4 (every result links back to the filing)

  • looks at the insider’s own track record and what the other insiders are doing

  • finds similar past buys and how they did against the S&P 500

  • shows the case against the trade, not just the case for it

It’s rules on public SEC data, not a black box, and it’s free with no signup.

A few other things to try: Time Machine (pick insider buys from the past and see how they would have done) and Challenge My Thesis.

I’d love honest feedback:

  • What would make you trust a signal like this more?

  • What’s missing that you’d check before acting on an insider buy?

Not investment advice, just a faster way to do the homework.

Linking every result back to the original Form 4 is the part I'd trust most. I run my own business on the same rule: the original record always wins over any summary of it. Our database is a copy, the bank statement is the source, and when they disagree I suspect the copy first. So the link to the filing is what would get me to believe the rest.
