Retic launches on Product Hunt November 8, two months later than I said

For anyone new: Retic is a goal & habit tracker that links everything in one tree.

Finish a habit, and your goal moves forward automatically. Log this morning's run and "Run 300km this year" ticks up by itself, no separate app to update.

Retic launches on Product Hunt November 8, two months later than I said.

The reason for the delay is simple. In August the only person using it every day was me, and I didn't want launch day to be the first time anyone else did. So in October I opened it as a free public beta with no waitlist, and spent the weeks since on the rough edges people would hit first, mostly on phones. The Android app goes public on Google Play the same day as the launch.

Still building this solo, in the gaps around a full-time job.

If you'd like a reminder on launch day, the product page is . If you'd rather poke at it now, works without an account.

Anyone else here pushed a launch back to get real users in first? Did the extra time pay off, or would you just ship on the original date next time?
