See Your Code React to Your Heartbeat
Hey everyone π
Iβve been working on an experiment called Code-Pulse Live.
Itβs an experimental coding environment where your heartbeat becomes part of the coding experience. You can connect a Bluetooth heart-rate monitor or use webcam pulse detection, and watch your live BPM and pulse wave sync with your code execution.
The idea is to explore the connection between your physical state and programming performance β things like focus, stress, and flow state while coding.
Key features:
β€οΈ Real-time heart-rate sync while coding
π§ Flow state awareness to see when you're focused
π Session analytics with biometric patterns
β¨οΈ Built-in code editor (JavaScript, Python, and more)
π Local processing β heart-rate data stays in your browser
This is still an early experiment, so Iβd really love to hear your thoughts.
β’ Does this idea sound useful or interesting?
β’ What features would you add or change?
β’ Would you actually use something like this while coding?
Any feedback would help a lot as I continue improving it π
