We built an MCP server that lets AI agents research any US property in seconds
If you're building anything in real estate, proptech, or lending -- this might save you months of work.
We just open-sourced our MCP (Model Context Protocol) server that connects AI agents like Claude, Cursor, or any MCP-compatible tool to ReadyPermit's property intelligence API.
What it does:
- Any AI agent can now look up zoning, flood risk, permit requirements, setbacks, and buildability for any US address
- Returns structured data in seconds instead of hours of manual research
- Works with Claude Desktop, Cursor, and any MCP-compatible client
Why we built it:
We kept seeing developers try to bolt property data onto their AI apps by scraping county websites (unreliable, slow, breaks constantly). Our MCP server gives AI agents clean, structured access to the same data that powers ReadyPermit.ai -- our platform that's delivered 5,000+ property intelligence reports.
Use cases we're seeing:
- AI-powered underwriting tools for lenders
- Chatbots for real estate brokerages that can answer zoning questions instantly
- Investment analysis agents that screen properties before human review
- ADU feasibility bots for homeowners
Check it out on our GitHub or try ReadyPermit.ai directly. Happy to answer any questions about building MCP servers for vertical data or AI in regulated industries.
