We’re launching Riftur soon! An AI tool for gap analysis. Early feedback welcome! 🚀

by

Hey PH community!

We’re preparing to launch Riftur, an AI tool within the gap analysis space that helps you compare two documents and instantly see what’s missing, incomplete, or inconsistent. It’s designed for anyone who works with requirements vs. deliverables — proposals, audits, compliance matrices, education materials, internal SOPs, etc.

We’ll be going live on Product Hunt soon, but before we do, we’d love to gather some early feedback from this group:

  • Does the problem/solution resonate with you?

  • Which use cases feel strongest?

  • What would make the product more appealing ahead of launch?

Really appreciate any thoughts. Excited (and slightly nervous) to share Riftur with everyone soon 🤍

Super interesting problem space — gap analysis is one of those workflows where tiny mistakes create huge downstream issues.

If you’re gearing up for launch, one thing that really helped me was collecting structured user feedback early. I built Retour for this exact scenario — it gives you a small feedback component you can drop into your site during onboarding or testing, so you can see what users are confused about, what clicks, and what feels missing.

Tools like Riftur get sharper really fast when the feedback loop is tight.

Happy to test it out when you open early access!

@adityaraj007 Totally agree! Gap analysis is one of those workflows where even a tiny oversight can derail an entire review cycle. Tight feedback loops definitely make tools like this much sharper, especially with a use case that varies so much across industries.

Retour looks super helpful for collecting structured feedback during early iterations, thanks for sharing that! We’re in the early stages of refining Riftur, and having clean signals from users is already making a big difference.

Riftur is available now if you feel like trying it out, you can check it out here: https://riftur.com/ . Would love to hear what parts feel intuitive vs. confusing and where the comparisons could be clearer. Happy to take any feedback you have!

@sophia_martinez4 Sounds like a really cool idea. I write essays, so it might become a handy tool to me, and I am wondering if this would help in analyzing gaps in essays, too?

Sophia Martinez

@kavyashree_s1 Yes, Riftur actually works really well for essays! Since it compares two documents, you can upload your essay and then upload the instructions or the rubric you are trying to fullfill. It’ll point out things you didn’t fully answer or sections that need more development.

If you want to try it out, the demo is live! Feel free to play with it and see how it handles your inputs. Would love to hear how it works on your essays and if the gaps it finds make sense to you. You can check it out here: https://riftur.com/

@sophia_martinez4 Thank you for the link, I'll definitely try it out and see how it works for me!!

@kavyashree_s1 Of course, I am excited for you to try it out! Let us know how you like it, we would love feedback :)

@sophia_martinez4 I tried using riftur, but I'm getting this error. So, I was wondering if there were technical issues or if it's a problem from my side. Is the product not available in all the countries yet?

I'm trying it with Google Chrome (Just so you can check if it's a browser issue).
