What Pain-Point are you Solving?

I’m building Spendalyst around a problem I think traditional money apps often make harder than it needs to be: people want to understand where their money is going, but they don’t necessarily want another budget to maintain.

Spendalyst takes a spending-awareness approach instead. It connects through Plaid, analyzes spending and trends automatically, detects subscriptions and recurring price changes, and gives one personalized coaching insight each Monday.

The idea is less maintenance, more useful awareness.

I’m still learning which part creates the strongest reason for people to keep using it — recurring-charge detection, spending patterns, or the weekly coaching.

I’d appreciate feedback from anyone who has stopped using traditional budgeting apps.
