I built SendNoticeMail, a small novelty service that prints and anonymously mails meme certificates to US recipients for $9. The current product preview is a Termination of Interaction notice: fictional, overly formal paperwork for an inside joke.
The thing I want to test is whether receiving the joke in a real mailbox adds enough fun to make someone want to send another one. A screenshot is free and instant; the physical version has to earn the extra effort.
For makers who have tried selling playful products: what would you show first to make that difference clear the complete certificate, the envelope, or an example of the opening experience? And does the premise make sense at a glance?
