$1,000 Airbyte bill made me build this — sharing pre-launch
Hey makers
Pre-launch sharing because this is the right forum for it.
A few years ago I got hit with a $1,000 Airbyte bill in one month
Free pre-launch security scans 5 spots. We need brutal feedback more than we need customers.
I'm Syef, co-founder and CEO of Xseth. We're building an autonomous recon and triage engine for offensive security it maps your attack surface and surfaces the findings worth your attention, minus the scanner noise.
We're pre-launch and at the stage where honest feedback is worth more than revenue. So here's the deal:
We'll run a security scan on your website at no charge and walk you through what we find.
Best fit if you're:
Junior dev - I built a privacy-first social network
This is my first real project, and it's now live in production: mynook.social.
Why another social network? When I asked myself "what would I change today?", social media was the first thing that came to mind. I think it started out great but became manipulative and noisy. After watching The Great Hack, I stopped posting photos online back in 2019. So I built the kind of network I'd actually want to use.
What makes it different:
Privacy by default public profiles show only a name and photo; private ones don't even appear in search.
You sort each person as Friend, Family, or Both, then choose who sees each photo. The restriction lives in the relationship, not just the post. (Party photos stay with friends; baby photos stay with family.)
Customizable profiles, so your space actually feels like yours.
Building AI for furniture e-commerce. Let's compare notes on what's actually working
Building AI for furniture e-commerce has been eye-opening.
Most AI conversations seem to focus on coding, content creation, and productivity. But after spending time talking to furniture stores and studying how customers shop online, I've noticed a different challenge.
Finding the right furniture isn't always straightforward.
Customers often browse dozens of products, compare styles, materials, colors, and dimensions, and still leave without making a decision. Unlike many purchases, furniture is highly visual and personal.
I'm back with a big update to Limelight.
Limelight started as a live overlay for Mac a cursor spotlight, on-screen keystrokes, and freehand drawing so your audience can actually follow your pointer and the shortcuts you press.
This relaunch adds full recording. Now you hit record and Limelight auto-zooms toward your clicks, smooths your cursor, drops it on a clean background, and exports a sharp mp4 or a vertical 9:16 clip all on your Mac, nothing uploaded.
What I'm trying to do differently from the screen recorders already out there:
It shows your keystrokes and clicks right on screen perfect for coding tutorials, no separate KeyCastr window.
Pay once ($34), not a $20/month subscription. Free to try, no account.
100% offline and notarized your recordings never leave your machine.
Unfollowers Tracker
Unfollowers Tracker is a web-based tool designed to help people understand Instagram follower changes more clearly and with less friction. It makes it easier to review who unfollowed you, who does not follow you back, and other follower-related changes through a simpler and more user-friendly experience.

The product was built around a straightforward idea: many similar tools feel overly complicated, invasive, or difficult to trust. Unfollowers Tracker aims to provide a cleaner alternative by focusing on clarity, ease of use, and a more privacy-friendly experience.

I'm launching one product per day next week on Product Hunt
Hey,
Next week I'm doing something a bit unusual. One product launch per day, every day, for a full week.
We Built Foursite So a Two-Person Design Studio Can Walk Into a Pitch Like a Twenty-Person Firm.
My co-founder and I are engineers. We built a product for an industry we had never worked in. What pulled us there was a problem we kept hearing described in almost exactly the same words by interior designers at every stage of their career.
'We lose pitches not because our design is worse. We lose because we cannot show it the way the big firms can.'
The big firms have render pipelines. They have dedicated visualization teams. They commission photorealistic 3D interiors as a standard pitch cost. The small studio is presenting a mood board and a portfolio PDF and hoping the client can imagine the gap.
We built a bio link that captures leads, not just clicks — what would make you switch?

Every link-in-bio tool I've used is built around the click. It hosts your links, counts the taps, and that's it. You can get a thousand visits and walk away with a number, not one name you can actually follow up with.
