This project started from a simple (and uncomfortable) reality: even smart, tech-savvy people can fall for well-crafted phishing attacks. We recently saw a few public cases, but that was just the trigger. The real question was: how many phishing emails go unnoticed every single day? So we decided to build something practical and lightweight. A Chrome extension that helps you detect phishing emails, suspicious attachments, and risky signals before you click — without reading or storing your emails, and without breaking your workflow. At first, we had a long feature list. Then we cut most of it. We focused on doing one thing well: helping people slow down for a second and spot real email threats.
