Hi, dear people! I am Olga, co-founder of Sequoia and psychiatrist and sexologist. Thank you for attention! ❤️ What do you feel when you hear the phrase «good erection»? What is your association? Maybe, it is strength, best sex, a successful man, health. What do you feel when you hear the phrase «bad erection»? What is your association? Do you feel shame, weakness, and embarrassment? What do you feel when you see ads for impotence medicine, do you feel discomfort? Have you ever heard nervous chuckles, inappropriate jokes and promises of miracle pills supposing to help in a company of so-called friends…? I’ve heard the answer “yes” to all these questions from men who turned to me for medical advice. There is a story of rejection of their problem, their sexual history, themselves behind each of them. Loss of identity, depression, other mental disorders… How many men did not seek help? Erection is historically considered to be inseparable from the feeling of masculinity. But this is a well-known stereotype, isn’t it? After all, a man feels like a man not only because he has an erection, doesn’t he?
