We bring structure, secure payments, and digital visibility to skilled artisans—making it easy for customers across the diaspora to request designs, message, and book with confidence.

I’m Nana Yaa, founder of SewConnect. Growing up in a Ghanaian household, custom garments were part of every major life event. But finding a trusted seamstress — especially across countries — was always referral-based and stressful. After coordinating traditional wear across Ghana and the U.S. during a family loss, I realized something bigger: There is no structured way to discover and book trusted African designers globally. SewConnect is my answer to that problem. We’re starting with discovery and booking infrastructure, and building toward a trusted ecosystem for custom fashion worldwide.
