@ay8s Yep of course! Any 3D model in gltf, glb, or usdz format is supported, whether it's built by a partner or someone else.

Great Product app! @pushmatrix would it work for amazon affiliate website. We have there products too listed down and if we want to use shopify AR model to show the amazon products in 3d view via AR? Does it works that way too? or it must be for shopify store? Thanks!

@vikas_yadav1 For now the functionality only works on your online Shopify store, but eventually the 3D models stored on Shopify will be accessible in other platforms, much like how your products are accessible on different channels.

I've actually been creating a similar idea using Snapchat for a Sungalsses store on Shopify ( https://thedarkinc.com/ ). Really great that they are incorporating it into the platform! Can't wait to use it and port over our AR experiences when it's ready.

The product is really awesome and I especially like the feature of creating 3D models by ownself.

I absolutely agree with Ted Chen. 3D models are amazing, I didn't see it even in WordPress and Mobirise although they have eCommerce options. Shopify did a great step further.

Before I used Weebly, Wix and Mobirise, but the Shopify AR is the best in the matter of Ecommerce site creation. This builder has the best optimisation and flexible structure in description and presentation of the goods.

NO, not a easy way to unlocked business potential with AR. Only if you pay a shopify expert, a very smart way to make more money over shopify clients. Shopify team do not help anyone that is not an "shopify expert", I create my own 3d files (that works on other platforms) but not in shopify, when I asked for some support they didn't gave me, thank you for nothing.
