I discovered Shortwave through a Twitter thread about Quill.chat users discussing the company being sold to Twitter (that's a different story for another time). Reached out to @startupandrew on getting an invite to give Shortwave a spin, and a few months later, I've never bothered using other email clients for personal use. They certainly have their users in mind. Sorting, pinning important emails, ultra-fast search, and getting to inbox zero on the fly? This stuff should be illegal. Congratulations, Andrew and the Shortwave team. I've been looking forward to this launch day and I'm genuinely happy you guys are finally here. Woot! 🎉

I've tried countless email clients ever since Google shut down Inbox. I discovered Shortwave a few months ago and it checks all the boxes for me. It's the only client that logically groups my emails and allows me to read them inline and easily stay at Inbox Zero. Congrats on the launch team! Can't wait to see what you do with it

I got an early demo of Shortwave by @startupandrew a ~year ago. They clearly put a ton of attention on the details and nuances of email workflows. I'm curious, what's been the biggest surprise so far, Andrew?

@rrhoover Honestly how smooth everything has been going 😆. I'm still waiting for the other show to drop! Our #1 request is email deletion, and our #2 request is fast account switching on the web - both of which were hot button issues in the alpha too (and we're working on them).

It makes my life much easier. Lookout, er, Outlook doesn't cut it. Gmail web access and phone app just presents me the email pile. Shortwave tames it so I can quickly triage my email with the benefit of easily applying "rules" to fight the mess. Every now and then I go into gmail proper to do some setting thingee, and I cringe. I scamper back to Shortwave as quickly as possible. Thank you Shortwave team!!!!
