Sidekick - Build Zapier-style automations using only a chat interface

Describe your workflow in chat and watch Sidekick build it. AI adds connectors, configures logic, and handles errors. Run it on demand or on a schedule. Connect Gmail, Calendar, Docs, Notion, Slack, and more—priced per run, not per action.

Sidekick is outstanding

Building Zapier-style automations via chat interface is genius. Easy to use, time-saving, and flexible. Perfect for streamlining tasks and boosting productivity. Highly recommend for individuals and teams looking to simplify automation!

@trisha_chatterjee2 Thank you Trisha! Ease of use + time-saving is the goal, glad it resonates

looks neat! love the neobrutalist style. is it possible to update the nodes after AI creates them? wasn't super clear from the demo.

also cool that you use Autumn, i saw them launch here recently and thought it was a great idea / execution!

Tom Greenwald

@catt_marroll Thanks! Spent a lot of time on the design 😁. And yes - you can easily edit via chat. Just specify any changes you want to make. You don't edit the nodes on the canvas directly, the canvas is just a visual representation of your workflow. Do you think we could make that more clear?

And yes, shoutout Autumn - made billing super easy

Matt Carroll

@tom_greenwald gotcha! i guess as a somewhat technical user it's interesting to not be able to edit nodes explicitly, but maybe that wouldnt actually wind up being a problem in practice.

ill keep this in mind next time i have a small automation to build and give it a shot :)

thanks for the reply and congrats on launching!

Anders Lie

@tom_greenwald  @catt_marroll Yeah we're still discovering what makes exactly the right UX here - but so far it seems like people find the experience of chatting practical for bigger changes but also for small edits. Would love to get your thoughts as well once you have a chance to try it!

Owen Schwartz

Automating workflows with sidekick everyday since 2025! Awesome stuff guys excited for you!

Anders Lie

@oschwartz Thanks Owen! Pangolin integration ASAP

Tom Greenwald

@oschwartz Great to see! One day you'll be able to automate things on your localhost 👀

@ben11smith Appreciate it Ben!

Team Curieye
I’m a heavy Zapier user at work. I wonder if my org would be willing to give this a try. The Agent and Chatbot sub costs add up with Zap
Anders Lie

@team_curieye Awesome please do! I think you'll find that our per-run pricing is very affordable and flexible, plus we have a generous free tier!

Tom Greenwald

@team_curieye Let us know if you want to have a demo! Would be curious to hear what integrations your org uses that they would need to see in Sidekick

Roman Shemet

Shraman Kar

This is really cool

Tom Greenwald
@shraman_kar Thanks Shraman! Need a connector for Golpo video generation 👀
Anders Lie

@shraman_kar Ty! Yeah gotta get some video gen connected on Sidekick

Griffin Bishop

Congrats on the launch guys! Automations should be automatic, both to build and run :)

Tom Greenwald

@griffin_bishop This guy gets it!

Anders Lie

@griffin_bishop Thanks! Absolutely, no more manual automation building!

Dexter Horthy

Cheers to the guys who had to spend a year+ building browser agents before deciding “nah apis are pretty good”

Joking ofc - congrats on the launch dudes, this thing looks really dope!

Tom Greenwald

@dexhorthy We had to learn the utility of APIs from first principles

Anders Lie

@dexhorthy Haha thanks - we don't like to do things the easy way!
