Is it for US based companies only, or businesses from other countries could also use it to hire workers abroad? If I understand correctly, you also ensure legal compliance in the worker's country of residence, like handling taxes and social insurance? In Poland those are an employers obligations, and company registered abroad have to either deal with our tax and insurance institutions directly, most of the cases hiring local accountants, or cede it to employee, who then have to use accountants help and pay full costs of employment. Because of that many people are forced to register as sole proprietorship and work on B2B contracts, which don't provide such legal protection and benefits as employment, while increasing costs, depending on salary and related tax bracket.
