Daily note or one Inbox: where should quick iPhone captures go?

I'm the maker of Simple Memo. The app now supports appending iPhone captures to an Obsidian daily note or a fixed Inbox, and I'd like feedback on that destination choice.

A daily note keeps each capture with the day's context. One Inbox gives you a single place to review, but needs a clearing habit. Which trade-off works better for you?

If you want to try the integration: select an accessible vault folder in iCloud Drive or On My iPhone, choose the destination, then run the built-in write test and open that file on your iPhone. Direct folder writing needs no community plugin. Daily notes use yyyy-MM-dd.md; the app does not read your Obsidian naming settings automatically.

A successful local write is separate from email delivery and syncing to your Mac. Offline capture requires the folder to be downloaded and writable. Simple Memo is an independent app, not an official Obsidian product.
