Sitesauce - Convert your website to a static site in one click

Sitesauce converts your dynamic website (like a WordPress blog) into a static website in one click. It also keeps the site updated when your content changes. This will help you reduce server costs and page load times and increase scalability and security.

πŸ‘‹ Hey Product Hunt! I'm Miguel Piedrafita, an 18-year-old maker. After being frustrated about the many difficulties of setting up and maintaining a static blog powered by Ghost, I decided to build a tool that would generate the site automatically without me needing to do anything. After 8 months of work, I had created a complete platform that automatically generated and deployed any website to Vercel. πŸš€ Generate and deploy a static site for any website in one click πŸ”„ Keep your content updated with your server πŸ“¨ Proxy endpoints to your server, so your forms and APIs continue working 🏑 Or deploy your sites from localhost without even needing a server I'm super excited to finally get this out into the world! Let me know if you have any questions 😁

Miguel is an incredibly dedicated maker and one of the real ones out there. He's shipped this thing from scratch and it's been inspiring to witness. Fantastic ship!

This is fantastic! The landing page is sooooo well designed. I'm really impressed. Did you do the design and copy all yourself? @m1guelpf Also one bit of feedback - I feel like I would prefer seeing the price in price per month. I know its just simple math to calculate the monthly cost, but that's just my preference. I wonder if others feel the same way.

@austriker27 I got inspiration from multiple sites, and used a TailwindUI component as a starting point for one section, but besides that it's all custom. About displaying prices, I don't think I understand what you mean? Isn't displaying the price per month the same as displaying the monthly price? Could you ellaborate on what you mean?
David A. Lindahl
@m1guelpf Nice! I recognized the TailwindUI in one part! Oh whoa, I just saw the part where you can select monthly vs annual pricing. I think I must have clicked on annual without realizing it and then didn't see the part below it where you can click on monthly. My bad! I think I was still asleep when I left my comment 😁

@austriker27 Haha don't worry, happens to the best of us 😁

@austriker27 @m1guelpf Inspiration from multiple sites? Seems to be a direct rip from https://www.designjoy.co/
Miguel Piedrafita
@austriker27 @donnacha I used their publicly-available illustration pack scribbbles.design, and some page sections are similar (as millions of other landing pages use similar sections as well). Saying they look similar is one thing, but saying it's a "direct rip" seems disrespectful (imo).
