Hello! Will here, the founder at Tendo. We set up the company to make frontline work a safe, dignified and prosperous place to earn a living. Equipping frontline / blue-collar workers with a digital ID made sense - LinkedIn doesn't service professionals who progress primarily through the workplace. When thinking about new principles: two-way verified data, actionable information for learning & portability / universal movement between systems has set constraints. This v1 app emerged from this - a way for a worker to generate and retain records about their work in terms of skills demonstrated and hours worked. They can do this even if their employer isn't a paying customer - a key principle of access to ensure any worker can claim on-the-job proof of work done.
