Jeremy-it's more like Microsoft has incorporated Skype's features into their Lync and Office 365 products.

@andyabramson Microsoft rebranded Lync as Skype for Business just over a year ago.

Seems like a lot of effort to go to just because Skype on Mac seems to be unable to find the mic or speakers all the time..

Looks good; do you upgrade Skype to use this? Is it only in the US? How about us based in Europe? I did go around the help pages for a while.

I do all my client meetings with zoom.us on a pro account which costs 15/mth - the free account has a meeting duration of 40 minutes. It's straightforward for the less tech savvy people and a lot cheaper than gotomeeting etc.
