How do you keep presentation slides and oral storytelling in sync?
I wanted to start a discussion around presentations and storytelling.
My usual workflow looked like this:
PowerPoint for slides
ChatGPT to avoid the blank page
Another tool for images
Then rewriting slides again to match what I want to say out loud
AI helps, but the process still feels fragmented.
Each slide is often fine on its own, yet the overall narrative lacks coherence.
And the oral part almost always forces another round of rewriting.
This is actually why I ended up building SlideNarrative.
We’re planning to launch it on Product Hunt tomorrow,
but before that, I’m genuinely curious how others handle this today.
So I’d love your input:
Do you start from slides or from the oral story?
Do you write speaker notes separately?
What part of the process do you find the most painful?
Any feedback or perspective would be super helpful.
