The most important for our team documentation for API , Code and System. Slite may be good for normal user. Not for tech team.

There is no export feature, too. After writing the Documents, we are sharing PDF format to our clients. Slite cannot export to Pdf or MS Word feature.

Pros:

Clean UI

Cons:

Not supporting Syntax Highlighting and Code Block. There is no way to write the API documentation with team. Still prefer Dropbox Paper.

You can export notes in both PDF format and Markdown format.

Hi @christophepas! Thank you for such an amazing product! Our team enjoys using it!

@afanasiy glad to hear that, and stay tuned there is a lot coming up ;)

II am a big fan of the eFounders team and product that they built. Slite is standing out as a potential game changer in term of communication

Pros:

Beautiful UI and clean design. Highly collaborative and great new approach on team-communication. Huge fan!

Cons:

I would love to be able to share my notes easily on other mediums (PPT, Keynote, PDF)

I like the idea, tried it out, and the UX was too confusing for a note app imo.

@normal_ppl thanks for sharing your thoughts. There are still a lot of improvements to do but we managed to put Slite in the hands of 100+ team because we use the simplicity of a note app :). I'd be happy to know the top 3 of UX issues which makes it confusing for you. Really really valuable, we need it to move forward ;)

I have been using Slite for the past week and I need to say that this is awesome! For me, it's like 'Confluence' but way simpler and with a great UI. I've already sent lots of 'feature requests' and bugs I found and the guys are very receptive. Well done, keep it up!

@thiagoafram that's very good news ;) Laure noticed your involvement, that's so cool & it really helps us. We will keep improving Slite for you!!

love the current iteration so far. I know it's still in its infancy. looking forward to more features

Pros:

Easy to use, minimalist, really good UX.

Cons:

no tables (yet)

Interesting app, for me it's a great connection of Slack and Dropbox Paper. As for now, I would probably not go beyond Trello, which is quite enough for my needs for putting the notes but in the future, I think I might consider switching some activities from Trello to Slite.

@matt_pliszka thanks a lot for the comment Matt :) we also love Trello for our task management. When it comes to sharing content whether it's knowledge or processes, Slite makes sharing and access to information super simple for teams. We're currently building a templates hub to give users an idea of how they can make the best out of Slite: www.slite.com/templates :) would love your feedback!

Great tool to keep the whole team updated

Slite is on a niche market

Pros:

Slite is a great tool for team and no need for a long onboarding as the app is smooth to use

Cons:

Is there a mobile version already??

Interesting. A quick look leads me to be favorably impressed. But a few things that are missing to make it even more helpful, and more competitive with tools like Dropbox Paper, Notion, Quip, etc. 0. Tables? I didn't see 1. Dates on tasks -- kind of essential 2. Yes, an automatic @stoweboyd collection is created with links to all notes where I am mentioned, but I'd really like another []stoweboyd collection where all tasks I am assigned are aggregated. And I mean the tasks, not the entire notes. And orderable by dates (see 1., above). 3. Publishing -- If I hone a note and want to share it outside my team (like anyone with the URL, or password protected), I'd like to be able to publish.
Christophe Pasquier
@stoweboyd Thanks a lot for the thorough feedback ! We are 1 year old, but clearly the goal is to be your next no brainer tool when you think about written content & knowledge in teams. While we want to keep it super simple to be easy to adopt by anyone, we have a lot to do to reach this point and a lot of your requests are on our roadmap 😉 : 0. Tables will arrive in the upcoming months 1. Dates on tasks will probably arrive via 3rd party integrations, via Asana, trello or whatever tool you need. The aggregation will be part of this integration as well 2. Actually you are suggesting something great that doesn’t exist as of now : the @stoweboyd in the list is a channel dedicated to your personal notes that you’re not ready to share yet. But your suggestion is really good, thanks for the idea ! 3. You can publicly share a note, the option is available through the «link » icon in the right bar when you’re on a note Thanks again !

@christophepas Ok, but you have a chicken/egg problem: people won't move to your product from Notion, Quip, Paper, if you don't have these features, at least if they use those features and depend on them already. Consider the https://paper.dropbox.com/tasks page, which I can't live without despite its flaws.
