Revolutionary! Sometimes it can become a challenge to find time & focus on the podcast. Here is a solution. Congrats everyone!

Snipd best app for noting from podcasts with ReadWise integration.

Congrats on the launch! 🎉 I’ve been using Snipd for about 6 months now and am a big fan! It replaced Airr and essentially every other podcast app I was using at the time (e.g. Overcast). Things I Love: - Transcriptions - Chapter summaries - Queues - Personal notes on “snips” that I clip - Export functionality to Obsidian Wishlist: - iOS widgets - Desktop app (or web app)

Hi @skyler_reeves, that's great to hear. Thx for your support :) Give the new feature a try as well. Interested to hear your feedback.

Honestly, this is a true step forward for podcast players. I have a lifetime license for PocketCasts but switched to Snipd for the snips to Readwise to Obsidian workflow. For me, most of my podcast listening is for learning and being able to finally truly take notes inside a podcast is game changing.
Gina Schlatter
Thanks so much @alexherder! Means a lot to the team and we hope you are enjoying this new feature 🚀

@g_schalalala Gina, it’s great. My dream next feature is to be able to create snips on my Apple Watch. I’m often driving and want to make a note to review a clip later but it’s not safe to get my phone out. I know I can configure the AirPods but that’s intimidating for whatever reason.
Jeff Walsh
Really cool. Gotta add Tim Ferriss shows...way too long. Will you make the summaries available on the original podcasters' library? Suppose that would remove the Snipd app from the equation but maybe a service they (the podcaster) is willing to pay for? In any event, such a needed product. Congrats on launch

@jeff_walsh thanks Jeff. That is also a cool idea. We do plan to build more powerful features on top of this and the audio/text file will only be a part of the user experience!
Kevin Smith
@jeff_walsh Great! You can add your requests for additional shows here: https://docs.google.com/forms/d/... We'll definitely contact podcast creators and see how we can design this feature in a way that benefits them as well.
Megha Poojari
Much needed!
Kevin Smith
@megha_poojari I agree, it's not just great to get the key insights, it's also an efficient discovery tool to find the most interesting parts of an episode to deep dive into.
Vinay
great tool! I love it
Kevin Smith
@mindkhichdi thx a lot! DO you listen to a lot of podcasts?

Love Snipd for their highlight feature (snips) and their “For You” page which helps me with podcast discovery. This one looks like another banger of a feature for podcast listeners. Huberman episodes next pls :)
Kevin Smith
@gio_tiongson Thx for your kind words :) Will add your vote to Huberman. ...We sort of expected Huberman to be one of the requested ones ;)
