Spearmint helps developers generate tests for their applications through an intuitive, accessible no-code UI. Like always, Spearmint dynamically produces tests for React (+ Hooks), Redux, endpoints, and paint timing. Now, it can also create tests for accessibility!

Hello Product Hunters! I’m Annie, a software developer that had the honor of working on the open-source developer tool, Spearmint! Spearmint has been around for a few years. But now, Spearmint places an extra emphasis on ♿✨accessibility✨♿ ➡️ 🙋Who we are We’re a passionate team of 5 (Sharon, Alfred, Tolan, Gabi, and myself) who sought to contribute to the open-source community, as well as the a11y (aka web accessibility) community! We adopted Spearmint as our project, and the rest is history! ➡️ 🌿What is Spearmint?🌿 Spearmint is a developer tool that allows devs to generate tests for their apps while writing absolutely no code. Spearmint has a wide breadth of capabilities, ranging from Redux to endpoint testing. The tool was already very nifty, but my team and I noticed that it lacked any capability to test for accessibility. ➡️ 💫 New Features 💫 ACCESSIBLE GUI ⭐️ New, contrast-ratio-compliant theme! ⭐️ Keyboard navigation ⌨️ Navigate Spearmint with nothing but your trusty keyboard! ⭐️ Distinct border 🔲 on focused elements so non-mouse users can use the app with ease ⭐️ Accessible drag-n-drop functionality has been added to the existing React test-generation page, as well as the new Accessibility test-generation page ACCESSIBILITY TESTING ⭐️ Test in 3 ways: Basic HTML, React components, and URLs! ⭐️ Filter by tag: Pick which accessibility standards and categories you want to assess per test statement. ⭐️ In the background, users will be leveraging Jest, Axe-Core, and Puppeteer, through our no-code magic. ➡️ Questions?
