πŸ‘‹Β Hey ProductHunt community We’re excited to share our new feature with you: a Holiday Mode for Slack πŸŒ΄πŸ–οΈ We have all had that experience of coming back from holiday to see 99+ unread Slack notifications. Nothing kills the holiday mood faster 😬 We wanted to create a way to get an overview in seconds, so you can understand the key things that you missed and preserve that holiday mood a little longer! It’s super simple to use: 1. Select the dates that you were away for 2. Get a summary of what you’ve missed 3. Ask questions about the specifics Head over here to give it a try: https://www.spoke.ai/slack-holid... And best of all: it’s FREE to use! πŸ’œΒ The Spoke.ai Team

Love the idea! I'm curious about your ML engine under the hood, what are you using to get this working?
Hey @vincent_audoire1 πŸ‘‹ We're using a combination of different technologies, this includes fine-tuned open-source models for anonymization of all personally-identifiable / confidential data, MongoDB, RDS w/ pgvector, cosine similarity, hybrid search and some of OpenAI's products like the completion and assistants API (with fallback models models at other LLM providers). Let us know if you have any other questions, always glad to exchange ideas on different approaches and best practices πŸ™Œ

This is so cool. It easily gives me back 0.5-1 day after a 1 week vacation of just catching up with messages. Can't wait to come back from my next vacation!
@schuhi Great to hear that! Thanks for your support πŸ’œ

Seeing a product focused on 'rest' among the many tools aimed at 'increasing productivity' and 'making work more efficient' on Product Hunt is such a refreshing change. I immediately felt the urge to try it out upon hearing the description. Oh, and are there any plans to expand beyond Slack to other work tools? In Asia, a tool called 'Jandi' is widely used. It would be great if it could be integrated with other tools in the future!
@summer_kim_1014 Thanks for the kind words! For now, the Holiday Mode mainly works for Slack. However, we're integrating with various other tools like Notion, Jira, Confluence, GitHub, Linear, and more with our core product. Feel free to check it out or reach out if you have more questions. Thank you for you support πŸ’œ

Definitely see the use in this! Congrats on the launch πŸŽ‰ I was wondering how you guys iterate on your model- do you collect data on topics/chats where maybe your summaries or question answering perform poorly? Anyhow keep up the good work πŸ’ͺ
@avibasnet great question, we gather explicit feedback via a feedback modal in the app to identify main areas of improvement and to track whether changes we make to our models and process deliver improved user value (e.g. do the proportion of thumbs-up/ positive comments increase). We also perform meta-analyses of rated summaries to identify issues not directly captured by our feedback options and use that to iterate. Additionally we usually do a few rounds of testing and annotation/evaluation on our own internal data before release or larger model iterations.

@grainne_mcknight Thanks for the response! Saw you were interested in analytics, and would love to talk more about this if you have the time!
