The Spotify you know and love is getting a lot bigger with the addition of a catalog of content that users have been requesting for years: audiobooks. Spotify listeners in the U.S. will be able to purchase and listen to more than 300,000 audiobook titles

Really wish I could port all my Audible purchases over to Spotify...! Sadly, we no longer own the media we buy, but merely license it and so what's "ours" actually isn't. Still stoked about this launch for Spotify. They're really on a tear this year!

I'm just curious, why did Spotify wait so long to launch audio books and when are they going to go in the voice assistant market. Because from what I've seen, google home, Alexa are used mostly for listening to songs
