That's a good question, and (as a former consultant) I would say it depends, but based on request, industry and type of business data user works with Subatix will apply various frameworks and methodologies (from statistical to consulting to industry best practices), in order to find what additional insights across related factors and areas.

If we are to take processing industries as an example, Subatix will test performance across shifts, batch sizes, material lots, maintenance timing and so on, and find structural patterns as well as outliers (both good and bad). Then, it will benchmark against internal and industry best practices to find gaps as well as conditions led to them. Some of those gaps conditions will be known and will be ones you are looking for ,but it will also uncover gaps you weren’t explicitly looking for - those unknown unknowns.

It will also suggest what additional areas might be of high value to look into beyond the initial scope.
