New Feature! - Save and restore workspaces as native Chrome tab groups (TabDog v2.2.0)
Hey everyone! 👋

I'm excited to share TabDog 2.2.0 — a big update for anyone who juggles dozens of tabs daily.
What's new:
When you restore a saved workspace, TabDog now creates a native Chrome tab group — with the workspace's name and color applied directly in your tab bar. No more losing track of which tabs belong where.
Before: Restoring a workspace just dumped all tabs into your window. Good luck figuring out which ones you just opened.
After: Tabs open as a named, color-coded group. It feels like workspaces are built into Chrome itself.
Why I built this:
I kept saving workspaces in TabDog but losing context the moment I restored them. The tabs mixed in with everything else. Chrome already has tab groups — why not use them? So now TabDog bridges the gap between saved workspaces and the browser's native UI.
How it works:
1. Save any set of tabs as a workspace (with a name + color)
2. Hit restore -> tabs open as a Chrome tab group
3. The group carries your workspace's name and color
Would love to hear your feedback. What would make tab management better for you?
