As someone who failed Duolingo for 3 years: Does the feedback include pronunciation analysis? My Spanish ‘r’ needs emergency help. 🚑

@desmond_ren1 You just found the perfect solution! 😆 Our real-time pronunciation assessment is precise to the phoneme level. We invite you to download and try it out 🚀

Awesome product launch Lea! Certainly a space that has proven to be promising with e.g. recent investments in companies like Praktika. Especially with Audio, I find other applications unreliable in judging pronunciation. Even when making deliberate mistakes, answers are marked correctly due to intonation.

excited to see how you tackle this!

Lea D.

@didiervanh We've noticed the phenomenon you mentioned as well. TalkMe's pronunciation scoring is primarily based on two dimensions: 1. Intonation assessment, which accounts for a smaller portion; and 2. Scoring of each phoneme within the words, which carries the highest weight. To address the issue you raised, our core focus is on improving the accuracy of voice recognition in the following three ways: Firstly, we enhance the input voice with human voice augmentation; secondly, we automatically correct the recognized content by combining the context of the conversation; and thirdly, we are accumulating datasets of different regional accents to train the system's model, thereby improving the effect.

Hey! The product looks interesting, making me curious about its features and how it will differ from its competitors.

Lea D.

@anirudh_madhavan Thanks, Anirudh. TalkMe focuses on helping users learn easily and speak naturally. We've developed many practical features and have achieved a closed-loop learning path, from learning and practicing to assessment and progress tracking. Compared to competitors, we place greater emphasis on providing an immersive learning experience, creating a native-like environment for our users.

I’ve recently been working on improving my spoken English and tried several products, but most lacked accuracy in correcting my speaking or didn’t feel natural enough compared to conversations with real coaches. Then I discovered TalkMe AI, which genuinely surprised me. Its clean, intuitive UI, personalized learning plans, free-talk sessions, and scenario-based conversations perfectly match what I’ve been looking for. The moment I saw the TOEIC practice exercises, I immediately subscribed. It’s incredibly user-friendly. Looking forward to seeing TalkMe continue to grow and get even better!

Lea D.

@genedai Appreciate your genuine feedback, Gene. I'm glad you're enjoying TalkMe! We're always trying to make the learning experience better, so feel free to share any suggestions. ❤️

Very good idea, good luck with the launch

Lea D.

@dev_singh Thank you, Dev! Good luck with your upcoming launch, too!

Marina

Congratulations, TalkMe AI team on your launch!

I love that you cover everyday scenarios and even allow users to create their own—that’s a fantastic way to keep learning practical and engaging!

One question: How does TalkMe AI adapt to individual speaking styles and progress over time? Does it adjust difficulty levels and conversation styles as users become more fluent?

Lea D.

@marin_artisk Hi Marina, that's a great question! Difficulty adaptation in conversations is really important. Currently, we can segment course content by difficulty level, and during real-time conversations, our AI also assesses the user's language proficiency according to the CEFR standard to provide appropriate responses.

Just tried TalkMe and wow, this is exactly what i needed! the gap between textbook learning and actual speaking has always been my biggest frustration with apps like Duolingo and Babbel. those AI tutors feel surprisingly human-like, especially when practicing business scenarios (finally something practical!).

love how it gives instant feedback on pronunciation instead of just moving on like most apps do lol. the personalized study plans actually feel... personalized? ʕ•ᴥ•ʔ

can't wait to use this for my upcoming trip to japan! congrats to the team on building something that finally makes language practice less awkward and more useful! brilliant launch!

The AI teacher is quite patient, and conversation practice is much more fun than just memorizing vocabulary~

The project looks promising! Why didn't you add information to the site about how much it costs? I would like to know that before downloading the app
